Revoking Personhood Credentials

The revocation of Personhood Credentials is based on the W3C Bitstring Status List, which requires credentials as source data to create bitstrings. Because of this, it is not possible to delete individual credentials. Instead, you can revoke all your credentials and delete your decentralized identifiers and private key. Private key is stored only on your device. Please note that this process is irreversible. To revoke all your credentials and delete your decentralized identifiers, follow these steps:

  1. 1. Open the iOS app. If credentials are stored on your device, you will see a gear-shaped icon in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.
  2. 2. Click the gear icon, then select “Clean up my data”
  3. 3. Confirm the action. On the confirmation page, if you are certain you want to proceed, type “CLEAN UP MY DATA” in the text field and then tap the red button.
